Digital Subscription Line (DSL) Internet Access

Digital Subscriber Line (commonly referred to as DSL) service is simply a technology that delivers high-speed internet data connections from the phone company's Central Office (CO) to the customer's location over existing copper telephone wires. Even though your phone wire is used to deliver the connection, DSL does not tie up your phone line like a standard dial-up/modem connection does. Nor does it require a dedicated or second phone line. This can provide a significant monthly savings to business customers that are paying for a separate phone line and "measured rate" service for every minute that phone line is used. Dial-up users must also deal with busy signals and dropped connections. With our DSL solutions you won't ever have to dial-up to the Internet, experience busy signals, or dropped connections - you will have a reliable always-on connection.

  • ADSL

ADSL or Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line is a service where the information sent from the customer's PC to the Internet is slower than the information sent from the Internet to the customer's PC. (i.e. slower upload speeds than download speeds). Though ADSL service is less expensive, due to slower upload speeds, ADSL is not always well suited for business use or for applications such as web hosting, e-mail servers, video conferencing, etc. Typically, ADSL services include customer equipment known as a "bridge" which provides little to no security, making your network vulnerable to attacks.

  • SDSL

Symmetrical Digital Subscriber Line is a symmetric service - the upstream speed is the same as the downstream speed. SDSL can deliver high-speed data communications at up to 2.3 Mbps. SDSL is a true business class product. SDSL has symmetrical speeds that make it possible to a host Web site or e-mail servers, even perform video conferencing and e-commerce. Our SDSL also comes with a service level agreement that guarantees a specified level of speed and network uptime.

  • IDSL

IDSL is a symmetric service that provides DSL technology over existing copper telephone lines. Typically, this service is more expensive than other DSL services. However, this service can be provided to customer locations that are far away from the phone company Central Offices. Unlike IDSL, most other DSL services cannot be provided to distant locations.

Intranets are internal websites used by businesses and organizations to greatly improve and streamline their internal communication and workflow. Secure, password-protected and easily updated, these sites allow multiple contributors to exchange information in a timely fashion without the need to rely on a webmaster to make the additions and/or changes. This also eliminates the version control issues associated with passing of documents and data via email. Give us the chance to show you how an intranet or other database driven website can improve your business.
